Extreme Pinball was developed by Digital Extremes and Epic Megagames. It was released by Electronics Arts in 1995. Extreme Pinball is the successor to Epic Pinball.

Similar to Epic Pinball, Extreme Pinball includes super high quality digital soundtracks and superb sound effects. It also uses 320x400 tweak VGA mode to create higher resolution graphics.

There are four tables included in Extreme Pinball: Rock Fantasy, Medieval Knights, Urban Chaos, and Monkey Mayhem. Each of them carries their unique mission, and we have to really spend time to understand all.

Unlike Epic Pinball, Extreme Pinball is more sensitive and the ball is faster. This changes make the game feel slightly less like real pinball, but make the gameplay more exciting.

According to the developers, they want us to immerse in all of the table features, rather than having to focus on how to master a particular maneuver.
